8 Days 7 Nights Kwazulu- Swaziland- Kruger National Park-Mpumalanga Pilgrims Rest And Johannesburg. Approximately 3000km

Day One: Durban- Isimangaliso Wetlands Park (St Lucia)

We depart Durban early in the morning on a scenic drive to St Lucia (Isimangaliso) a UNESCO world heritage site. You will enjoy a 2 hour estuary cruise where you will get up close and personal with Hippos and Crocodiles with a huge variety of birdlife. There after you will be mesmerized by the beauty of the Caracal (Lynx) , enchanted by the playful Serval, astonished by the speed and abilities of the Cheetah and be delighted by the African Wildcat at Emdoneni Lodge and Wild Cat Rehabilitation Centre during your overnight stay at the Emdoneni Lodge or another similar lodge. (Includes Dinner, bed and breakfast).

Day Two: Swaziland

After breakfast we check out and head out North of KwaZulu Natal, we enter Swaziland at Golela Border gate (passport necessary) we drive through the magnificent landscapes of Swaziland a tiny kingdom of a former British Protection Territory, now ruled by King Mswati III. Enjoy a Swazi cultural experience and then head off to the Hlane National Park in the afternoon. Once all that is done you can then enjoy a leisure rest for the rest of the afternoon at our very rustic camp Hlane/ Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary Camp or another similar lodge (Includes dinner, bed and breakfast).

Day Three: Kruger National Park

We leave Hlane after breakfast, driving through this largely mountainous landlocked Kingdom headed to Kruger National Park. We enter through the Southern- most gate and head North through the vast reserve, be on the lookout for the Big 5: the Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard and all manner of wondrous wildlife, bird and plant species. Later on we check in at our Rest Camp Skukuza or another similar lodge (Bed only).

Day Four: Kruger National Park (Skukuza)

You will get up very early for a sunrise game drive on our Land Rover where we start our search for the impassive wildlife that’s in the Kruger National Park. This enormous and magnificent park is one of the most popular public- entered game parks in the world. Its density of permanent game is unrivaled with hundreds of different species; 507 birds, 336 trees, 147 mammals, 114 reptiles, 49 fish and 34 amphibians. We then return to the camp by mid-afternoon take a rest and then go for a sunset game drive in an open game viewing vehicle with the South Africa National Park authorities. We will spend the night at Skukuza (bed only).

Day Five: Kruger National Park (Satara)

We depart from Skukuza very early and continue to explore this magnificent park. It is the largest game reserve in South Africa. It covers 18, 989 square km (7, 332 sq mi) and extends 350km (217 mi) from north to south and 60km (37 mi) from east to west. We arrive at Satara Rest Camp for a late breakfast (own expense) then later drive around the Satara area as it is the best camp for viewing the Lion, Cheetah and Leopard. We go back to the camp in the early afternoon relax for a while and later go for a sunset game drive with an open game vehicle with the South Africa National Park Authorities. We will spend the night at Satara Rest Camp or another similar lodge (bed only).

Satara Kuger National Park

Day Six: Blyde River Canyon  (Pilgrims Rest)

After breakfast we continue our search for more Kruger National Park inhabitants, today we drive north of Satara and later we leave the Kruger National Park. We head off to enjoy the scenic delights of Mpumalanga’s Panorama Route. The day’s highlights include the Pilgrims Rest, the old mining village where gold was first discovered, the glorious Gods window, a boundless view of forested mountains and fertile plains and a visit to the spectacular Blyde River Canyon one of the natural wonders of Africa. We spend the night at Pilgrims Rest or a similar lodge (includes dinner, bed and breakfast).

Day 6 Blyde River Canyon

Day Seven: Johannesburg

We leave Mpumalanga rising several hundred feet into the Highveld en route to Johannesburg which is the largest city in South Africa. Johannesburg is the provincial capital of Gauteng, the wealthiest province in South Africa. The city is one of the 40 largest metropolitan areas in the world and its one of Africa’s only two global cities. We spend the night at a Johannesburg bed and breakfast.

Day 7: Johannesburg

Day Eight: Johannesburg

We visit Soweto and explore Gold Reef City, Africa’s greatest entertainment theme park created around the authentic 19th century gold mine. Gold Reef City theme park has an abundance of adventure rides, restaurants, history, and sightseeing and includes a visit to the mine shafts and the apartheid museum. The trip will end in the afternoon. We will spend the night in Johannesburg at your own expense.

Day 8 Johannesburg

2 nights game drives at the Kruger National Park
