Little Sunshines Au Pair Agency was established in 2005 (8 years ago) and has since grown to be one of the leading au pair agencies in Johannesburg, placing high quality and experienced au pairs in and around the Johannesburg area.
We pride ourselves on the knowledge and skills that we have obtained over the years and the ability to guide our families in successfully selecting an ideal au pair to assist them where required.
Little Sunshines Au Pair Agency has the following credentials and experience:
- We have over a decade of childcare experience both locally and abroad
- The owner has over a decade of recruitment and Human Resources management experience

- The owner has had au pairs in her employ for more than 8 years
- The owner studied psychology

Little Sunshines Au Pair Agency undertakes to fulfill the following services to our families:
- Consultation with the family and a representative of the agency (telephonic or via email)
- Submissions of various Curriculum Vitae to the family
- Arrangement of family and au pair interviews
- Arrangement of the Contract of Employment between the family and the au pair
- Facilitation of Agreement between the family and the au pair on the Terms and Conditions of Employment
- Customer Care support after placement has occurred
Little Sunshines Au Pair Agency undertakes to carry out the following with all our au pairs:
- An in-depth one-on-one interview with every single au pair prior to listing them on our database
- Criminal Reference Checks
- Thorough Work Related Reference Checks
- Confirmation of Matric, Courses, Diplomas and Degrees
- An In-house Au Pair Test relevant to their particular field
- Confirmation of Drivers License and own roadworthy Vehicle
- Confirmation of Identity Document
If an au pair does not suit the selection criteria, or does not pass the interview, then Little Sunshines Au Pair Agency will not list the au pair on our database for placement.
