The guided Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour is an exciting journey through the indigenous forests and over the spectacular Letaba River waterfalls, swinging from platform to platform whilst enjoying the tranquillity of the natural surroundings including a light meal and refreshments.

Spot the Giant Kingfisher, Red-winged Starling, and many other riverine forest birds. Animals include Vervet and Samango monkeys in the yellowwood trees, baboons walking on the cliff ledges and if you are lucky, a shy bushbuck!

The Gecko-Tubing trip:
The Gecko-Tubing trip starts deep in the gorge at the beginning of the great Letaba River. This adventure takes you through tranquil, crystal clear waters with breath-taking views as well as through some roaring white water rapids.

Kloofing:
Kloofing in the scenic Georges Valley gorge is for the more adventurous! Explore, float and swim down sections of peaceful water as well as experience bum-sliding, rock hopping, hiking, abseiling and waterfall jumping into breath-taking pools. Not for the faint-hearted!

Abseiling:
Our Abseiling Trip descends 30 metres down a smooth rock into the majestic Georges Valley gorge, landing in the great Letaba River, also allowing for swimming and relaxing at the bottom underneath the waterfall.

Climbing Wall:
Our Climbing Wall is open at 09:00; 12:00 and 15:30. It accommodates 4-10 participants at R120 pp.
Team Building activities include a range of exercises that test both mental and physical team capabilities. They are designed to improve team dynamics, communication, conflict resolution, problem solving and cohesion. Please request more details on each programme.

Directions:
From Polokwane:
Take the R71 north towards Tzaneen. Continue for approximately 55-km towards Haenertsburg. Cross over the stop street in Haenertsburg, continue for 1-km and turn right at the sign that says Tzaneen via George’s Valley R528. Continue on this road for 11-km and turn right at the Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour sign (FARM GV11) and park at the reception.

From Phalaborwa/Tzaneen:
From Phalaborwa, take the R71 towards Tzaneen. From Tzaneen, take the R528 via George’s Valley towards Haenertsburg/Polokwane. Continue for approximately 25-km and turn left at the Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour sign (FARM GV11) and park at the reception.

From Hoedspruit:
Take the R40 towards Mica. Just past Mica turn left on the R526 towards Tzaneen via Gravelotte. This becomes the R71. From Tzaneen, take the R528 via George’s Valley towards Haenertsburg/Polokwane. Continue for approximately 25-km and turn left at the Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour sign (FARM GV11) and park at the reception.

From Louis Trichardt (Makhado):
Take the N1 towards Polokwane. Just before the Capricorn Toll Plaza, turn left onto the R36 towards Modjajiskloof/Tzaneen. You will go through Soekmekaar, Mooketsi, and Modjajiskloof before you reach Tzaneen. From Tzaneen, take the R528 via George’s Valley towards Haenertsburg/Polokwane. Continue for approximately 25-km and turn left at the Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour sign (FARM GV11) and park at the reception.
