VISION
To be a worshipping community of 21st Century disciples of Jesus, who make disciples that impact and influence society, through the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
A WORSHIPING COMMUNITY
Theology: God is one, expressed in a loving, protecting, honouring community of three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As we are made in this image we will be most complete when we are part of this type of community. As the family of God (Eph. 3:14, Matt. 6:9) the church is best placed and empowered to reflect this amazing, loving, caring, close-knit community. However, God didn't just make us for community, He also made us for worship. He has wired us this way; to find significance and fulfillment in something other than ourselves. There are many counterfeit objects of worship but only one true object of worship: God.
Application: Community is valued highly at Junction. We do this through prioritising relationships on Sundays and mid-week meetings and by valuing hospitality, meals and friendship. As true friendship is an expression of vulnerability, integrity and honour, friendships within Junction are aimed to be robust and loving. As a worshiping community, when we gather, we worship God the Father, through Jesus, by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We aim that these moments of worship then overflow into a lifestyle of worship.

GET INVOLVED
Jesus said he came not be served but to serve (Mat 20:28). As his followers we want to do the same, knowing that if we all do our part we can reach many people. Serving in a team on a Sunday is a great way to meet new people and feel part of the community, and if everyone does a little bit then none need burn out or feel overburdened.
God has given all of us unique passions and gifts (Rom. 12:3-8) and where possible we want to match these with opportunities to serve. And its not just on a Sunday. We have lots of things going on during the week. For instance, if you have a passion for social action have a look at the projects that we run and see if you want to get involved; We also have a variety of ministries around prayer and healing and various theological courses. Please see the areas of service below, select which area you feel more suited to serve in and then drop us an email.

Which area interests you there might be more than one. Commitment levels vary depending on where you get involved but generaly you will find you are serving at least once a month.

SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION
Passionate in seeing God’s heart for justice being lived out, Junction Church has formed the banner ‘Nation Building’ under which NGOs, multi-national companies and local communities can partner to create solutions which can be modeled and multiplied across South Africa. The administration for these various projects is carried out under our NGO, Junxion training, which also runs the community centre where our church is based.
