How much of a deposit is required to reserve our wedding date?
A 50% deposit is required to reserve our photographic services to take your wedding photos on your special day. The balance is payable 3 days prior to the wedding date unless we have arranged otherwise and noted in the contract.
How long do you require to do the Romantic Shoot of the Bride and Groom?
To make sure that your wedding photos are out of this world, we need at least 60 minutes to do the Romantic session
The group photos are not included in this time frame.
How many photographs can I expect of my wedding?
I take as many photos as the day allows . We average around 1500 images on a typical wedding. I then edit these photos down to between 600 and 800 images which are placed on your CD/DVD.
How far in advance do you typically book weddings?
1 to 12 months in advance.
I definitely want to book you for my wedding, can you hold my wedding date without a deposit?
Bookings are only confirmed when I get the deposit and a signed contract.
Do we have to provide you with a meal on the wedding day?
Because we spent between 8 to 12 hours on a wedding, we do require a meal. If you are unable to provide us with a mealon your wedding day(Reception), please let me know so that I can make an alternative plan.
How many Photographers will be on my wedding?
Your wedding will be covered by myself and an assistant photographer. By having two photographers on your special wedding we will be able to cover the whole day from different angles and every moment will surely be captured.
How do we meet with you?
I either meet couples at my home studio, it’s in Silver Lakes, Pretoria, or at a nearby coffee shop, for an informal discussion and to show you some wedding samples. However bookings can be made without meeting up if the distance is too great. Evenings and weekend appointments are also available.
How long will it be before we can see our wedding photos?
Within a week of your wedding, a sneak preview of your wedding photos will be placed on our blog. The full wedding will be available between 2 and 3 weeks after the wedding.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Yes, for weddings where the distance is greater than 100km we charge R2,50 per km plus Toll fees. Should the wedding venue be more than 150km from our studio, accommodation at a recognized B&B must be provided for 2 photographers.
Who chooses the images for the wedding album?
YOU choose your favorite images for the album.( It is your wedding after all!!) I will do the layout and design of the album.
Do we get to see the album layout before printing starts?
Yes, the album will only be sent for printing prior to your approval.
