A : Lion Park
An exciting and unique experience to see Lions and Elephants up close and personal. You also get the chance to see a variety of Antelopes, Zebras, Rhino (Rex), White Lions and many more.
B : Birds of Prey Centre
Visitors are entertained by a one hour educational outdoor presentation by the staff and birds of the sanctuary; you are also introduced to the wide variety of majestic birds found in South Africa. (CLOSED ON MONDAYS).
C : Tala Game Reserve
This reserve provides exceptional game viewing and birding which includes Rhino’s, Giraffes, Hippos, Blesbok, Impala, Zebra’s and a whole lot of variety.
D : Phezulu Cultural Village
Based in the Valley of 1000 Hills offers a Zulu Cultural show which focuses on the customs and dancing of the local Zulu people.
E : Reptile Park
To conclude the tour we visit the Reptile Park where qualified park guides will intrigue you with interesting facts about the resident crocodiles and snakes.
 
 
 
ABOUT THE TOUR
Embark on a day of wildlife sightings and Zulu culture with a mini safari tour from Durban. Start at the Natal Lion Park for an incredible up-close view of lions and other animals such as elephants, leopards and wildebeests. Then continue to the region's Bird of Prey Sanctuary, where you'll see resident raptors such as vultures, eagles and owls. Follow this with a trip to the nearby Tala Game Reserve and afterward, the Phezulu Cultural Village and Reptile Park. Here, enjoy an immersive Zulu cultural experience complete with a traditional dance performance.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
This trip starts with a drive to the Lion Park which you will enjoy as the surrounding countryside provides beautiful and pleasant views all around. Once there, you will get a chance to see the elephants and lions from a safe distance.
 
You then head off to the Birds of Prey Centre (closed on Mondays), a rehabilitation facility for indigenous birds. These birds can also be viewed in the wild for visitors who are keen to learn more about South Africa's beautiful predators. Doors and windows must be kept locked and closed at all times.
 
The next stop is the Tala Game Reserve. This reserve is home to more than 380 bird species and game such as rhinos, giraffes, kudu, hippos, zebras, impalas, elands, and many more.
 
The last stop is the Phezulu Cultural Village and Reptile Park, which sits on the rolling stones of KwaZulu Natal on the Valley of a 1000 Hills. Here you will get a chance to see and experience a bit of Zulu culture and Zulu dancing as well as meet a sangoma (a traditional healer).
 
End the tour at the Reptile Park for an educational tour about the resident Nile crocodiles and snakes with a guide within the premises.
