Sashenka’s art translates her inner visions into an exhibition of her emotions which are transferred through the canvas to the viewer. As an artist she is a daydreamer but clearly has her own voice and sense of portrayal. The characters portrayed in her work are based on everyday moments in life that occur or perhaps may occur in the viewers life. The faces of the ugly and/or beautiful characters in her works reflect emotions of love, contemplation, determination, desire, femininity and passion. The images that inhabit her paintings often stay with you long after you have left the gallery.
Sashenka creates work that is life enhancing and playful, yet sometimes interspersed with disturbing ideas of reality. She uses her talent as a vehicle of communication to share bare and initial emotions which then constantly change into the final piece.
Sashenka’s art is unconditional, raw, authentic and spontaneous leaving one open to explore personally as to what the manifestation is.
