SameDay Express Service
· For sameday deliveries between major centres, we rely on flight availability from local airlines as well as courier availability at the time your booking is placed. The parcel will be delivered within 2 hours of the flight landing.
· For in-city sameday deliveries, Dawn Wing employs a team of owner-drivers, who can facilitate your deliveries within 1 - 2 hours depending on destination and availability.
· Sameday deliveries to regional areas can be arranged through your local branch customer service centre. A drive-away surcharge will be applicable and delivery will be effected in the fastest possible time frame.
Next Day
· Delivery within 1 - 3 business days from date of collection.
· Regional areas will be delivered within 2 - 4 business days depending on the geographical location.
Domestic Road Freight
· Delivery 1 - 4 business days from date of collection.
Dawn Delivery
· Deliveries that have a specific deadline time before 10h30 on a business day will be delivered as per the instruction on the waybill (based on flight availability to certain major centres)
· Dawn deliveries to regional areas can be arranged with prior notification through our Specials Division at our National Call Centre. Please note that additional surcharges will apply.
Saturday AM Service
· Collections and deliveries between 08h00 and 13h00 to major centres or in-city areas only.
Saturday PM, Sunday and Public Holiday Service
· Collections and deliveries after 13h00 on Saturdays, all day Sunday and all day Public Holidays to major centres or in-city areas only.
Township / Remote Area Service
· Collections and / or deliveries within a township or an extremely rural region are offered. Please note that an additional transit day should be added to the regular transit time.
Embassy / Consulate Service
· Collections and deliveries to and from embassies or consulates can be facilitated by special request.
INTERNATIONAL SERVICES GUIDE
International Documents Express
The Dawn Wing International Documents Express service is designed for sending important items which weigh less than 5kg anywhere in the world. It facilitates the door-to-door delivery of non-declarable outbound shipments internationally. These shipments do not require an Origin and Value Declaration at Customs.
International Parcels Express
The Dawn Wing International Parcels Express service is designed for sending important items anywhere in the world. These shipments will require a proforma or commercial invoice and other related paperwork based on their value, destination and commodity. This service should be used for shipments weighing 31.5kg or less.
International Airfreight
This service is designed to facilitate the door to terminal delivery of a declarable outbound shipment internationally. These shipments require a Pro-Forma or Commercial Invoice for Customs purposes. This service should be used for all shipments weighing 31.5kg and above.
Import Express
The Import Express service is designed to allow the door-to-door delivery of declarable and non-declarable inbound shipments from other international origins. The Department of Customs and Excise levy customs duties and Vat on the declarable items.
